letting the form happen

This work is the record of an action that proposes the word as an element of the landscape in public space. A large sheet of paper draws a thin black margin inside itself; within it one reads dejar que la forma se haga —letting the form happen.

The paper is allowed to be affected by its surroundings: touching the ground, a wall, a pavement, and so taking on different shapes.

It is a sunny day; the shadow cast through the branches and leaves of a tree projects a blurred outline; the cracks and unevenness of the ground produce the same effect on the sheet. It is an urban murmur, an abandoned object.
