In this show, what stands for the body is something that believes it knows itself, yet searches for itself in actions, roles, names, definitions and forms. The body that knows itself inserts itself into places that let it explore through symbols and through experience itself; it operates as an object seeking new meanings, turning around the sense its context dictates to it, and it is precisely in this self-knowing that it steps outside itself and is remade. This piece brings together 50 packaging corners that were “left over” once opened. They sit on a perforated board and recall the panels used in hardware shops to display assorted nuts and small parts.
